Our belief is “A rising tide lifts all boats”. To that extent, Castleblack Cannabis has partnered with several Jamaican organizations to help make Jamaica a world-class player in the medical and recreational marijuana sector.
The University of West Indies (UWI).
Our partnership with UWI focusses on research and development for genetics, cloning, cultivating, manufacturing, and testing of marijuana products that can be used for targeted medicinal applications such as cancer, diabetes, pain, epilepsy, and PTSD.
Local Farmers.
Castleblack Cannabis has partnered with the Ganja Growers Association of Jamaica whereby the local farmers would be able to sell their harvests to Castleblack Cannabis whose distribution and customer base is world-wide. In addition, Castleblack Cannabis is training traditional farmers to improve their growing and harvesting techniques.
Local Community.
In locating its operations in Jamaica, Castleblack Cannabis’s goal is to employ as many people from the local community as possible thereby creating a more knowledgeable and experienced workforce with valuable and transferable skills. Additionally, Castleblack Cannabis will be purchasing much of the products and services needed during the construction phase and for ongoing operations from the local community.

Castleblack Cannabis has partnered with CCI., a world-leading cannabis consulting and compliance firm headquartered in Canada. The purpose of the partnership is to have better access to world markets and distribute medical and recreational marijuana products globally.
